How Much Money CAN You Make on Manyvids?

If you put in enough work, you can make up to $10,000-12,000 (!!!) a month. If you treat it as a job by uploading videos consistently and promoting them online, you can make a very nice income on ManyVids, especially with how popular the site is becoming. This means their traffic is increasing and so does the number of paying customers.

Payouts are bi-monthly and you make 60% of the revenue from the sales of your vids, pics, and any other services and items you offer. That is a pretty great payout percentage.

What is the MV Score and How is it Calculated?

You receive a base MV Score of 750 points when you create your profile. It goes up (and so does your placement on the site) with a number of factors.

The MV Score is calculated based on these factors:

Dollar amount of sales *Most important factor*
Number of hearts on vids and profile
Volume of vids and store items created
Number of times your uploads get auto-tweeted by ManyVids (Twitter account required)
MV reviews (5 points will be added for each full review up to a max of 200 points)

The MV score is recalculated twice daily and is in effect for 45 days. After each 45-day period, your score is reset to the base score of 750 points, so it is important to remain active on MV to keep your MV Score high!

Camgirl Lighting Tips – 3 Best Lights for Camming

In addition to having a great webcam, you need to remember that lighting is a REALLY important factor in looking your best on cam (and making that cash!). If you ever see a girl who’s ‘glowing’ and looking beautiful and clear, it’s likely that she is using special studio lights. No worries, they are not that complicated and can be bought on Amazon! So, what are the best lights to use while camming? This diagram shows that you ideally need 3 lights to light yourself with, also called the “3 Point Lighting Setup”.

LIGHTING SETUP

I would say that 2 specialty umbrella lights (“key” light and “fill” light) and your room’s overheard light or sunlight from a window (“back” light) will be enough and will give you a GREAT advantage over someone without extra equipment. Don’t overthink it too much, just make sure you’ve got a few umbrella lights illuminating you.

Camming Lighting and Tools: Advanced Stuff!

So, you’ve got yourself the best webcam and lighting kit, but feel like you want to up your camgirl game? Here are some advanced tools to get you there!

You’ve heard of umbrella lights, but if you want impeccable lighting, it might be worth looking into SOFTBOXES. Another interesting tool to have on the advanced side of things is a GREEN SCREEN! Just like the screens used for special effects for movies and tv, you can create some really fun shows with a green screen and a webcam software, like Manycams, to edit the background with whatever video or images you want. I’ve even seen this done to create a “realistic” library scene, when camming from actual libraries were banned! You can get as creative as you want!

⋆ How to Make Extra Money with MyFreeCams’s Affiliate Program

Myfreecams is one of the biggest cam sites out there and its referral program is a great way to make some extra money. While they used to have a revshare affiliate program with Crakrevenue, an adult affiliate network, they have ended their partnership.

Right now the only way to make that extra cash is by using their BAF (Bring-A-Friend) referral program, which gives you 20 tokens for every referred basic member and 200 tokens for every referred premium who signs up with your link.

I’ve mentioned it before in this post, but a lot of camgirls don’t realize that they can be part of this program as a model. It’s not exclusive to members!
